Tehran is ready to reinitiate atomic talks with the United States on condition that it is approached with "dignity" and "respect", Iran's foreign minister has declared.

The Iranian diplomat declared only diplomacy was effective, and disclosed recent overtures had originated from mediators to reopen discussions with the Trump administration. He asserted Iran had zero undeclared nuclear sites, and Tehran was not yet able to permit the global atomic watchdog to visit attacked atomic facilities for protective measures.

Walking a Complex Route

Araghchi is walking a difficult route since Iran aims to avoid be perceived to be operating from a situation of vulnerability, and he emphatically stated that Iran had arisen stronger defensively and psychologically from the Israeli-US attack on its enrichment centers in June.

He was speaking at a defense forum in Tehran where he reiterated that Iran had "an absolute privilege to refine atomic fuel within its borders that it will always maintain" – the primary cause of the impasse in the previous talks.

Prior Negotiations Abruptly Terminated

Following this, European countries employed their authority to reimpose global restrictions, but Iran asserts they have not had a substantial consequence.

Perfect Agreement Suggested

Iranian officials said they felt they had attained a "perfect agreement" to the nuclear fuel concern in prior discussions, when it was settled an Iran-based consortium with Washington's engagement could process nuclear material. Each party would have been able to assert triumph since home-based processing would have persisted and the US could be confident that Iran's atomic project was exclusively peaceful.

It had not been agreed in the discussions that US nuclear scientists could function within Iranian territory, but that was a logical implication of the partnership suggestion. In his remarks to the gathering, intended to portray the US as a controlling nation that exploits the notion of worldwide standards, the foreign minister stated the fortnight-long engagement revealed the dispute could not be settled by combat operations. He asserted the assaults started with a Washington's ultimatum for an complete Tehran capitulation and ended with an complete request for a ceasefire.

Diplomacy Continues the Primary Resolution

In what is characterized by Iranian officials as the conflict of repair and rebuilding, Araghchi claimed he was confident Iran's military capacities "have significantly improved than before 13 or 14 June of this year. All our capabilities have been reestablished. We gained many lessons from this war; we have discovered our personal limitations and the shortcomings of the adversary."

He continued: "We successfully passed this war. Our atomic expertise, which they aimed to eliminate, stays intact. The installations and equipment, if damaged, will be reconstructed; what is crucial is the determination of the nation of Iran and then the social solidarity that they targeted, but were unable to break. The Iranian people have grown more resilient, more integrated, and more supportive of the administration and the country in the wake of this assault."
